My second virtual afternoon tea was a celebration of St. Patrick's Day.
(any excuse for afternoon tea with friends!)

There were nine of us who attended virtually (via Zoom)
Everyone one enjoyed the event which began at 2:00 p.m.
Unfortunately, we didn't get a good photo of the sandwiches,
but the theme was Ireland and green.

I named all my foods after places I have visited in Ireland.
Everything is completely gluten free. I used Mama's Scone Mix and Namaste Scone Mix.
The English Clotted Cream is from Amazon, the Lemon Curd is from Harney and Sons
The teas are from Harney and Sons: Vanilla Comoro Decaf and Chinese Silver Needle
The "St.Stephen's Green Fluff is actually Watergate Salad
I found the recipe for the corned beef pinwheel on Pinterest and used
Mission Gluten Free Spinach Herb Tortilla Wraps
The gluten free bread used for sandwiches is Trader Joe's.
The gluten free cookies, pecan dandies and brownies were purchased
at Whole Foods and I garnished with St.Patrick's sugar decorations.

We described our menus, and discusses our tea wares and how they came to our homes.
We chatted about all sorts of interesting topics from Cheryl's beekeeping,
pets, a family recipe, Wanda's technical gadgets, and more!
It was so wonderful to see friends and visit!

I enjoyed reading and learning about St. Patrick and the Christian
symbolism of the shamrock.
