Afternoon Tea at The Plaza and King Kong

We enjoy afternoon tea at The Palm Court at The Plaza Hotel in NYC.
Many changes have taken place at the hotel since we first began visiting in the 1980's
I am thankful they offer a very nice gluten free afternoon tea
so that Austin and I can participate and enjoy.
Above, is my cup of Silver Needles (white) Tea.
Glenn chose Earl Grey and enjoyed The New Yorker Tea
See the menu above.

Austin and I had the gluten free version of the New Yorker.

The food was plentiful and delicious.

We love the ambiance in the Palm Court.

The weather in the northeast included storms and high temperatures,
but we had a great afternoon and evening seeing King Kong on Broadway.
It is the same story as the Fay Wray 1933 movie,
but the puppetry was amazing!

  3. I've never been to afternoon tea there, but it is on my bucket list. In fact, you have me thinking about a particular girlfriend who is always looking for a reason to go to New York again … hmmm … And their sweets look like little masterpieces!

  4. Love Afternoon Tea at the Plaza! It's time to return again! The circular tier with the contrasting tray is very pretty. And what presentation.
