Pandemic 50th Wedding Anniversary Review

Because I have been away from blogging for several months, I want to backtrack
a bit with this post.  Most of our family is in the photo above
(minus daughter #2 and granddaughter who was away at college).
Above, a secretly decorated table.
August 28, 2020 was our 50th Anniversary.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions we celebrated at home with a delightful afternoon tea.
Our #1 daughter, Melissa, and her special friend, Brittney, came to our home
while Glenn and I were in Lexington for a medical appointment the day before.
Let me tell you, they left no stone unturned!  They went through seven china
cabinets and even found my tablecloth closet.
The table is set with our Royal Worchester china purchased at the factory in
Worcester, England in 1998.  I chose the Francesca pattern, rather than the typical English floral, because the blue and gold trim was, in my opinion, neutral and could be used at holidays.
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine the gold would be perfect for our 50th Wedding Anniversary!
Melissa planned the menu, and she and Brittney made the delicious food in both gluten free
and regular for the family. I made three different teas.

This family afternoon tea was the best ever Covid-19
50th Wedding Anniversary celebration ever!
