Earl Grey Supreme

I purchased a variety of Harney and Sons loose leaf tea in
boxes of 20 individually wrapped sachets for friends to try
during virtual tea tastings.
Most of you know, I am not a big fan of flavored teas.
I read the following description of Harney and Sons Earl Grey Supreme:
"For the connoisseur we offer Earl Grey Supreme, which uses a higher
grade of teas with the addition of Silver Tips. Most of our customers never
go back to our regular Earl Grey once they taste the Supreme. If you love bergamot
and fine tea, this is the blend for you!"
Ok, so I am a self-proclaimed connoisseur of fine teas, therefore,
I decided to give this one another try after ignoring it for several years.
I found that I like it.  Do the large tippy teas and silver tips make that much difference?
Have my taste buds changed in my old age?
Let's hope that's not the reason, but it's possible. :-(
I will give the Earl Grey Supreme another try soon.

  1. Hi Linda, I like Fortnum and Mason Smokey Earl Grey. Harney and Sons have some very good teas. This is Beth J. from IA; last week I cleared my cache on my computer and now my name is not appearing when I comment.

  2. Hmm, I never assumed there would be that much difference from their regular Earl Grey, so thanks to your recommendation, I'll have to give it a try. (I have a flavored tea order coming from Harney tomorrow, so now I wish I'd added this!)
